Every morning, when I open my eyes, I am reminded of the decision you gave me, Jesus.
An opportunity to pick up my cross and submit my will to yours.
It is not a choice forced upon me but one I make every day.
I choose to follow you because you chose me first
No matter what obstacle that comes my way, you are there to lead the way
The path that you have laid before me is not an easy one, but I refuse to submit to defeat
At times, it is filled with suffering, pain, and opposition at every turn, but I realize that these challenges have one job: to strengthen me and make me more resilient to the calling you have placed on my life.
With each trial and tribulation that I deal with, I am reminded of your resilient presence and the power that lives in me
Even in the face of adversity, I have no fear because you are always leading the way.
I trust in your guidance and protection, knowing that no weapon formed against me shall prosper.
With you as my shepherd, I am confident in my ability to navigate this journey’s twists and turns with grace and determination.
I am grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside you, Jesus, and I am committed to following you for the rest of my life.
