The Battle Within

Her sole ambition was to surpass the person she was the previous year, yet the only obstacle in her way was herself.
Why was she unable to release the grip of the past?
Did she not realize the one who knew her even before she was formed in her mother’s womb had a divine plan for her?
Why couldn’t she come to terms with the fact that her happily ever after was not in the plans?
Widowhood had chosen her at a young age
She believed that maybe more fervent prayers or more time in the presence of God could have prevented her husband’s untimely passing.

Little did she comprehend that some things were beyond her control-the Creator had called her husband’s name, and he had answered.
For six long years, she had pondered the ‘what ifs, desperately seeking an elusive answer.
Why couldn’t she acknowledge that it was part of God’s plan and move forward?
