The pain and grief of what’s happening can be heard around the world. What has America become? Is there a way out for once a thriving country? What led to what’s all taking place? Why so much hate and division among the people? Who is to blame? I may never know, but I do know that the wailing has begun and will only grow louder as the days go by.
The wailing is getting louder in the streets
Devastation is around every corner
Where lights once existed, darkness has taken over
The wailing is getting louder as natural disasters are occurring back-to-back.
Homes being destroyed by fire and floods
Many people left without a clue about how to proceed or recover from this life change.
The wailing continues as hearts break and the world they know is gradually changing.
Not changing for the best, I might add, but fueling division, hatred, and civil unrest
Was this outcome predestined?
The wailing grows louder as famines are on the rise
Sickness of the past is making a return
Death coming like a thief in the night and carrying so many away from us.
The wailing of loved ones left behind clinging to the “I thought they had more time.”
Where do we go from here?
Has darkness taken over the land?
I thought this was the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Has our pride edged God out of America?
It seems so as His wrath can be read about in His word and seen throughout this country.
Is America under judgment from God?
I believe so, as we must answer for the things that are not pleasing to Him.
Is it too late for America to repent?
As a nation, yes, but as an individual, there’s still time for you to turn away from the things that are not of Him.
It’s time to decide as the wailing takes on its own voice.
Darkness will not prevail; the light will grow brighter and brighter until His return.
You may have to endure for a while, but joy will return.
