My child, it pains me to see how sin is no longer looked upon as something that is dishonoring me. 

The world has fooled so many of my people into thinking it’s okay to sin continually and that I will forgive them when they haven’t expressed true repentance. 

This world has divided my followers. 

Some walk in the way of the world, and the other half follow my instructions. 

Which one are you, my child? 

People have taken my grace and mercy as a joke. 

People do what pleases their flesh without regard for me or my words. 

My words are no longer taken seriously by this generation. 

Instead, they are focused on the latest gossip of celebrities and the things of this world. 

You attend my church and leave the same way you enter, and that shouldn’t be the case. 

You glorify yourself when it was I who placed you into that position. 

You only seek me for a handout and nothing more. 

You call on me when you have no one else to run to instead of coming to me first. 

How much more must I sacrifice before you realize my unconditional love for you? 

I only want to keep you safe from harm and bless you upon measure, but you must seek me and be obedient to my word. 

Why do you make this so hard? 

I send my people to warn you of what will come, but you scoff at them. 

I give you warnings through signs and wonders, yet you ignore them. 

How much more must I give before I wash my hands of you? 

What will you do once I take my hand of protection off of you? 

You are so fascinated with social media and binge-watching that you no longer hear me calling out to you. 

You attend church to check the box on your Christian to-do list. 

You post scriptures, yet you do not follow them. 

Why don’t you practice what you preach? 

This generation is wicked and no longer cares about anything that doesn’t benefit them. 

Everything is a debate, even my sound doctrine, which is no longer preached in some churches. 

Many leaders that I have called are living in the world now. 

They have turned from my teachings and now teach what feels good. 

They are no longer teaching my sheep; instead, they are leading them astray. 

Many who sit in the church look up to the pastors as their Savior and give their worship to them. 

You quickly defend their wrongs when the truth is right in front of your face. 

I don’t care who you are; you cannot worship me and the world simultaneously. 

My ways do not work with the world’s ways. 

You have made having children out of wedlock a new thing. 

You have shunned marriages and given in to your sinful desires. 

My people have fallen, and for a time, they will have to experience the consequences of their actions. 

They will seek me, but I will go quiet for a time. 

When true repentance comes from their mouth 

I will rescue them, but until then, they must feel my wrath. 

I have spoken saith the Lord.
