Growing up seemed impossible for her as she relived every moment of her childhood.
A childhood that was bombarded with memories of sadness and grief kept overpowering her mind.
It was like she was stuck in the past and couldn’t move on from the pain and trauma.
She was mad at the world, but most importantly, at Him.
He was supposed to protect her, but somehow, He left her to defend for herself.
She wanted to know why He chose her for this life if He wouldn’t be there to see her through.
She was only a child, and there weren’t many things that she could do.
When she tried to fight back, the anger only grew.
She hid behind a pseudonym that got her into trouble, but she didn’t care, as it was the only way to be seen by others.
Only if they knew the pain she was hiding on the inside.
The broken little girl was crying out to be saved, but no one seemed to hear her cry.
She battled this war into adulthood, leaving pain and destruction along the path, wondering where He was, and wanting to know how much she must bear before He intervenes.
