Spoken Thoughts

Some thoughts are meant to be spoken

Where Are You?

It’s dark! Where are you?
I am afraid! Where are you?
I am worthless and feel so unloved
With no one to care for me.
My heart is bleeding.
My thoughts are suicidal.
I want to give up.
I can’t continue to go on like this.
I am not built for this life.
I am only a kid.
Where are you?
Why won’t you answer me?!
I didn’t ask for this life!
Do you feel my hurt and pain?
Can you feel the hatred seeking from my pores?
I didn’t ask for this family or this pain and misery.
You’re the one who was supposed never to forsake me
I needed you as a kid, but you weren’t there for me.
Where were you?

Love

I never knew it.
I wasn’t exposed to it.
Love has escaped me.
Love has abandoned me.
Love is nowhere to be found.
Love is a four-letter word with no real meaning or value.
Love is an illusion.
Love is fake.
Love is deceitful, and love is pain.
Why speak such words when they have no meaning?
Love has never shown itself to me, so
Why should I believe in something I never experienced?
Love is nothing but a false reality that I want no part of.
