Spoken Thoughts

Some thoughts are meant to be spoken

May my Words Encourage You

God knew my words could be used to encourage others who may be going through a hard time; therefore, he gave me the gift to inspire others. My life experiences have shaped me in a way that can bring hope to the hopeless.

My life experiences led me down paths I pray many don’t have to experience, but I can say now that I am thankful for everything I have been through. I once was a broken girl who felt like she didn’t have a voice. I thought God abandoned me as a child because of the things I had to endure.

I grew up not knowing the love of a Father, which led me down a destructive path. I used to be ashamed of this path, but now I write about it and how I was able to use those difficult times as a tool to guide others. I learned that the things we go through aren’t just for us.

Our stories can help others. I have picked up the mantle God has placed in front of me and set off to bring light in a world of darkness through the words gifted to me. God didn’t abandon me all those years ago. He was walking with me, knowing my trials and tribulations would lead me here.

My mission is to encourage others and show them how God transformed my life. My testimony may be the key to helping others who may be experiencing things that seem impossible to overcome at the time. I am here to tell you that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and I am here to guide you through it with the help of the Holy Spirit.

My Faith in God

Without faith in God, how can you overcome?

You must place your faith in Him and trust Him to order your steps.

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” ~Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)

HOPE IN JESUS

Place your hope in Jesus when the sun is hiding behind the dark clouds. Place your hope in Jesus when there seems to be no way out of your current situation. Placing your hope in the one who can make the impossible possible brings a peace that surpasses all understanding.

“But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” ~Isaiah 40:31 NLT~

LOYALTY AND KINDNESS

Being loyal and kind these days seems like a thing of the past. Making loyalty and kindness seem like the bad guys, but in reality, loyalty and kindness is a good thing. We must also learn to place our loyalty in Christ and others while showing kindness along the way. I know you may have been hurt by individuals you were loyal and kind to, but don’t let those experiences change you from being a loyal and kind person. You must hold on tightly to loyalty and kindness and hold them closely to your heart.

“Never let loyalty and kindness leave you! Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation.” ~Proverbs 3:3-4 NLT~
