Through my encounter with the Holy Spirit, I found the strength to keep standing even when the world around me was collapsing.
If you let the world’s latest happenings shape your thoughts, you may lose your faith, hope, and love. I come to give you my testimony and advice. Hopefully, by offering my testimony and encouragement on how to stay grounded no matter the state of the world is tossing your way, you will begin to stand firm no matter what’s going on around you.
I used to place my faith in the world, thinking it was invincible
I used to believe that my country was untouchable until I realized we are bullies
I used to think that doing things my way and not caring about others was the way to go
I used to believe that the world had my best interests at heart until I realized the world is filled with liars, especially the leaders who will tell you anything to get into office
I used to believe that this world could be saved from all the sins it commits on a daily with no repentance in sight
When I realized all those things were lies, I felt it was too late for me until I had an encounter on one of the most painful days of my life
On a day when the sky was filled with beautiful blues, my heart was filled with emptiness and pain
It was the day I met the presence of the Holy Spirit for the first time, and from that day forward, nothing was ever the same
Now, I no longer place my faith, hope, or love in the world, but I choose to place them in the creator of the world.
I was existing for the wrong things in life,
Things were leading me further into darkness until the light was placed upon me as I was walking out the door to make funeral arrangements for my baby boy.
Who knew on such a tragic day, I would begin to see that there was something to still hold on to no matter what life was throwing my way,
I will always write about how Jesus saved me and led me on this path, and I will continue to share my faith, hope, and love with all who may be walking in the dark as I was until I had that encounter with the one who was sent to be my comforter.

Stand on the Word of God
When the enemy brings attack after attack, and the road ahead looks dark and gloomy, no matter how much you cry out to God, things don’t get any better. What are you supposed to do? I will tell you what to do. Put on the full armor of God and stand on His Word.
“Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.”~ Ephesians 6:11-14 (NLT)~
Hope Encouragement
HOPELESS
Hope seems lost when the unexpected hap-pens. When life throws you a curveball, you didn’t see coming, leaving you feeling hopeless and confused, not knowing where to turn to escape this nightmare you didn’t ask for, remember to call out to Him, and He will be your strength.
“Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.” ~Psalms 62:5 NLT~
Love Encouragement
GOD IS LOVE
Every day we awaken, we get the chance to place our love in Christ. We know how much God loves us, for the Bible tells us so. So, we have placed our trust in His love, knowing that God is love, and if we live in love, God lives in us.
“We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.”~1 John 4:16 NLT~
