Spoken Thoughts

Some thoughts are meant to be spoken

Short and Sweet

Enjoy the treat of Encouragement.

Life brings moments we aren’t prepared for at times. Moments that can change the trajectory of our lives for the worse if we let them. In times of difficulty, I pray that you stand and face the situation, even if it’s painful.

Stand even when your world is spinning

Stand on God’s word and know He wants you to cast your burdens upon Him.

“Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.” ~Psalms‬ ‭55‬:‭22‬ ‭NLT‬‬~

Have faith in the process

No matter how dark times may get or how you may be feeling, don’t let go of your faith that better days are ahead. Learn to praise your way through the storm, knowing the sun will shine again.

“Three different times, I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so Christ’s power can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses and the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” ~2 Corinthians 12:8-10 (NLT)

There is hope in the midst of pain and suffering

I encourage you to hold onto hope in God, even when storms come. As followers of Jesus, we know there will be trials and tribulations, but we still choose to put our hope in Him. Whether you receive good or bad news, your hope in Jesus will not falter because you trust He will guide you through it all.

“I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” ~John 16:33 NLT~

“There’s Hope in Christ”

When you’re encased in darkness, there appears to be no escape.

When all seems lost and hazy.

I want you to know there’s hope.

When life continues to lay obstacle after obstacle on your way, cling to hope.

The journey may seem harsh and unfair,

But remember, there is hope, and it comes from believing that God is here, no matter what you are dealing with in your life.

It may seem as if He has abandoned you, but He is here walking with you.

Put your faith in Him.

Give God all your darkness, for he fills it with the light of hope.
