I cherish the love you give me. A love so freely and deeply that words can’t explain it.
A love so pure,
A love so true,
I can’t fathom a day without you near.
I will enjoy the sunny days with you,
I will dance in the stormy ones as long as I have you there by my side.
There is nothing in the world that can come between the love shared,
You are my everything, and I want you to know that there’s no me without you.
I can’t do this life without you,
Breathing without you isn’t even possible,
You are the one who loved me first.
Just thinking about you and all you do for me makes me smile.
You are the one to love me unconditionally,
You are the best friend I’ve ever had,
You know all my past mistakes and failures,
Yet you still love me.
You make time for me when I need to vent or let out an ugly cry,
You are there, ready to hold me closely and find a way to mend my broken heart.
I have lost a lot in my lifetime, but I know for a fact that I can’t lose you because you sought me first when all I wanted to do was run away from you.
You showed me a better way to live, and your way was best for me.
You are the reason I am no longer the broken version of my past life,
With you, I am whole once again.
I express my love in this poem, knowing Jesus makes me whole. There is no me without Him. He is my everything, and I will continue to express my love and faithfulness to Him.
