We Must Choose Today

Time is of the essence, and who knows when our time will expire.

Being torn between two worlds

Dancing with the ways of the world while seeking a connection with God.

Being labeled as lukewarm and acknowledging its truth

Struggling to make a decision on which side to align with

It is impossible to follow Christ and cater to the world simultaneously.

I must prioritize and devote myself to one or the other.

The one I invest in the most will flourish.

The world may seem enticing and popular, but I am meant to stand out.

I am called to resist conforming to the ways of this world.

So why do I still linger on the edge?

Does the allure of the world convince me that it is the better option?

The world is the devil’s playground, yet I continue engaging with it.

This playground is full of destruction.

A destruction that will separate me from the one who sacrificed himself for my sins.

As I begin this day, I have to choose who I will serve. I will love one and despise the other—there is no middle ground.
