That is often misunderstood.
It flows freely from me,
Refreshing all who receive it,
It’s a powerful blessing, one that needs to be shared,
It’s something to give without inspecting anything in return.
I give it freely because it’s not for me to hold onto,
It’s a gift that keeps giving no matter the pain it sometimes brings,
It has the power to bring a smile to someone’s face who may be experiencing troubling times,
It highlights the gift that my father bestowed on all who love and know Him.
You see this four-letter word get thrown around and often used as a weapon, but why when it’s supposed to be used to uplift, inspire, encourage, help, care, and so much more,
I wish we could let it flow freely even if we don’t get it back in return.
You see, love is a beautiful thing that should be shared,
It’s a gift from Abba; if you know Him, you know love because He is love.
So, share the love you have radiating inside of you,
Who knows who may be in desperate need of the love you carry inside of you?
