This journey isn’t a sprint—it’s a marathon.
Some days, we move forward with confidence, while other days, progress feels painfully slow. But no matter the pace, it’s still progress. Growth takes time, and transformation is a process.
We often place unrealistic expectations on ourselves, striving for perfection when God is calling us to perseverance. Scripture reminds us:
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6)
God doesn’t expect us to have it all figured out at once. He desires our willingness to keep going—even on the hard days. Expect progression, not perfection.
God chose you for a reason, knowing every challenge you would face long before you encountered it. Nothing surprises Him. He’s already equipped you with everything you need to overcome.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10)
The real question is: will you believe what God says about you?
He promises you are never alone in this process: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)
You are not a failure because you stumble. Your pace does not disqualify you. You are chosen, called, and sustained by the Great “I AM” (Exodus 3:14).
So keep moving—step by step, breath by breath. Trust the process. God is faithful, and He’s not finished with you yet.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for walking with us through every step of this journey. Help us trust the process, release the need for perfection, and rest in the truth that we are chosen and never alone. Strengthen our faith as You continue the good work You’ve begun in us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
