How do you find hope
in the midst of pain,
of hurt that lingers,
of loss that steals your breath?

For me, the answer was Jesus.
I had to lay every burden at His feet— the pain I carried,
the hurt I buried,
the loss I couldn’t name.

He was the answer to my questions,
the calm in my confusion.
He showed me how to grieve without despair,
how to pray through the tears,
and how to trust Him in the waiting.

Through Him, I found comfort.
Through Him, healing began.
And in the presence of my loss,
hope was restored.
