I’m Not Okay, But God Is Still Good: My 10-Day Reset Before My Birthday

By

When You’re Not Okay, But You’re Still Holding On

Yesterday, I shared something honest.

Not polished. Not perfect. Just real.

A prayer that many of us have whispered at some point:
“God, I’m not okay.”

And if I’m being honest, that wasn’t just a blog post.
That was a reflection of a real season.

A season where my faith didn’t disappear—but it felt quieter.
A season where I knew God was good, but I didn’t always feel okay.

This Is What Came After That Prayer

After writing that post, I realized something:

It’s one thing to admit you’re not okay.
It’s another thing to know what to do next.

Because honesty opens the door—but what follows matters too.

So instead of leaving it there, I created something to walk through that space with intention.

Not a perfect plan.
Not a checklist.
But a guided reset.

A 10-Day Reset Before My Birthday

As my birthday approached, I didn’t feel led to just celebrate.

I felt led to reflect.
To slow down.
To reconnect.
To be honest with God in a deeper way.

So I created a 10-day devotional and poetry companion based on that exact place.

Not from having it all together—
but from learning how to stay, even when I didn’t.

What This Reset Is (And What It’s Not)

This isn’t a quick fix.

It’s not about forcing yourself to feel better.
It’s not about pretending everything is okay.

This is for the moments when:

  • Your heart feels heavy
  • Your thoughts won’t settle
  • Your faith feels quiet, but you’re still holding on

It’s a space to:

  • Be honest with God
  • Process what you’ve been carrying
  • Reconnect with peace—without pressure

What’s Included

Inside this free bundle, you’ll find:

A 10-Day Devotional

A Poetry Companion
“Words for the Days You Don’t Have Any”

Why I’m Sharing This

I didn’t create this to add more noise.

I created it because I know what it feels like to:

  • Keep showing up when you’re tired
  • Keep believing when it feels hard
  • Keep praying when you don’t have the words

And if you’re in that place right now, I want you to know:

You don’t have to have it all together to come to God.

You just have to be honest.

Start Where You Are

If yesterday’s post resonated with you, this is the next step.

Not forward in pressure—but forward in honesty.

Final Thought

You may not feel okay right now.

But that doesn’t mean God isn’t still good.

And it doesn’t mean He isn’t still with you.
