Got Faith? Trusting God in the Moments I Couldn’t See the Outcome

By

How learning to rely on God transformed my hardest seasons into testimonies of faith.

There was a time in my life when I thought faith simply meant believing God existed. I knew who He was, I prayed, and I believed in His power, but I had not yet fully learned what it meant to truly trust Him. It wasn’t until life placed me in difficult seasons that I discovered real faith requires surrender.

In my toughest moments, my faith in God helped me overcome. It became the thing that carried me when I felt weak, confused, heartbroken, and uncertain about what was ahead. But truthfully, it was not always like that. I had to learn how to rely on God instead of solely on my own understanding.

Faith is not always comfortable. Sometimes faith means moving forward while your heart is still healing. Sometimes it means praying while waiting for answers. Other times, it means trusting God when everything around you seems silent. Faith stretches you beyond what you can naturally see and pushes you into complete dependence on Him.

The Bible says:

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” — Hebrews 11:1 (NLT)

Faith = Hope in God even when we cannot yet see the outcome.

That scripture became real to me during the moments when I could not see how things would work out. There were times I questioned the process, questioned the waiting, and even questioned myself. Yet somehow, God continued to remind me that faith is not built on visible evidence. It is built on trusting His character, His promises, and His timing.

As I grew spiritually, I began to understand that faith is not pretending everything is perfect. Faith is choosing to believe God is still working even when life feels imperfect. It is waking up each day and believing God has a purpose for your pain, a plan for your future, and peace for your present situation.

Looking back now, I can see how God used every difficult moment to strengthen my faith. The seasons that once tried to break me became the same seasons that taught me endurance, patience, and dependence on Him. What once felt impossible became possible because God never left my side.

If you are currently walking through a difficult season, I want to encourage you to hold onto your faith. Even when you cannot see the full picture, God can. Even when you feel forgotten, He still remembers you. Your waiting is not wasted, your prayers are not unheard, and your faith is not in vain.

Faith does not mean you will never struggle. It means you know whom to turn to in the middle of the struggle.

So today I ask you: Got faith?

Because sometimes faith is all you have… and in God, that is more than enough.
