Still Dancing in the Rain

What God Has Taught Me About Faith, Endurance, and Trust Through the Storms

After writing this piece a year ago, I am still learning how to dance through life’s storms. There have been days when it seemed like the rain would never stop, but I refused to let that derail me because I knew God was in the midst of the storm.

I did not enjoy the constant rain or the relentless winds that came against me, but I understood that the storm was there to strengthen me for what lay ahead. Looking back, I realize that the lesson God was teaching me was not simply how to endure the storm but how to trust Him while I was in it.

When I wrote the piece linked below, I knew that life would bring many storms. What I have learned since then is that storms are not meant to destroy us when our faith is anchored in Christ. It is our faith in knowing that Jesus is with us that gives us the strength to weather whatever comes our way.

The rain may fall, and the winds may blow, but God remains faithful. He is our shelter in the storm, our peace in the chaos, and our strength when we feel weak.

So, I encourage you to keep dancing, keep trusting, and keep believing. The storm will not last forever, and what God is producing in you through it is worth every drop of rain.

Keep dancing, because this, too, shall pass.

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.”
‭‭~Isaiah‬ ‭43‬:‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬~
