Freedom Found in Gratitude and Grace
The moment I realized
You owed me nothing,
I was freed from entitlement.
Humanity disrupted
Your perfect plan.
Still, You blessed us
with the greatest gift—
Your Son,
who died for our sins.
You saved countless souls
and offered salvation
we could never repay.
Nothing we could ever do
will compare
to Your sacrifice.
We have every reason
to praise You
for Your boundless love.
Speaking for myself,
I will honor You
even if You never do
another thing for me.
Thank You
for revealing the truth
and setting me free.
“Entitlement” is a heartfelt reminder that God owes us nothing—yet He gave us everything through Jesus. This poem reflects on the freedom that comes from releasing expectations, embracing grace, and recognizing the depth of God’s sacrifice and unconditional love. It’s a declaration of gratitude, humility, and praise rooted not in what God does for us, but in who He is.
