Trusting God’s Timing While Walking by Faith Through Every Season
Good Morning, Walking By Faith with Char Family,
Waiting seasons can feel heavy at times. We pray, we trust, and yet it may seem like the promises of God are taking longer than expected to unfold. In those moments, it can be easy to become discouraged or try to figure everything out on our own. But God never asked us to carry the weight of tomorrow. He asked us to trust Him today.
The waiting season is not wasted. It is in the waiting that God strengthens our faith, builds our endurance, and teaches us how to fully depend on Him. Every delay has purpose, even when we cannot yet see it.
Instead of allowing anxiety to consume us, Philippians reminds us to bring everything before God in prayer with thanksgiving. Not after the breakthrough comes, but while we are still waiting. There is power in praising God before the promise manifests.
Sometimes we delay our own peace because we lean too heavily on our own understanding. But God’s ways are not our ways, and His timing is always intentional. What feels delayed to us is often God preparing us for what we prayed for.
Today, choose to praise your way through the waiting. Trust that God is working behind the scenes on your behalf, even when you cannot trace His hand. His peace will guard your heart and mind as you continue walking by faith.
Scripture: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)
Prayer: Father God, thank You for being faithful even in the waiting seasons of life. Help us not to become anxious or discouraged while waiting on Your promises. Teach us to trust Your timing, lean not on our own understanding, and praise You in every season. Fill our hearts with peace that surpasses all understanding and strengthen our faith as we continue to walk by faith and not by sight. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
With Love,
