Your Birth Was Never Random — It Was an Appointed Time by God

As God woke me up this morning to see another year, I found myself asking Him, “Why did You choose May 15th to bring me into the world?”

I felt God gently remind me, “Because that was the day you were destined to enter the Earth. I have a purpose for you, and your birth was an appointed time.”

That reminder settled deeply in my spirit.

So many times, we want things when we want them. We question timing, seasons, delays, and even our own journey. But the Word of God reminds us that there is a season for everything under the sun. Nothing about our lives catches God by surprise because He already knows our beginning and our ending.

Before we ever took our first breath, God already knew the exact day we would arrive here on Earth. He knew the purpose attached to our lives, the people we would encounter, the battles we would face, and the testimony that would come from it all.

As I celebrate another birthday, I thank God for the purpose He has placed on my life. I thank Him for the reminder that nothing is new to Him. Even when I do not understand the road ahead, I can trust the One who already knows the destination.

I do not know what this new year of life will bring, but I do know this: I have a relationship with the One who holds my future in His hands.

So if you ever find yourself asking God, “Why this date?” or “Why was I born in this season of history?” remember this:

Your birth was not random.
Your life is not accidental.
You were born at an appointed time with a God-given purpose.

While you are here on Earth, there is still purpose attached to your existence. Never forget that the same God who created you also ordained the timing of your arrival.

Walk boldly in that truth.
